    学名：Cuculus micropterus

    英名：Indian Cuckoo

    形态：中型鸟类，体长31-34cm。头、颈烟灰色，上体浓褐色，翅形尖长，翅缘白色。尾较长，尾羽具白色斑点和宽阔的近端黑斑。下体具粗著的横斑。叫声似“花-花-包-谷”，四声一度。

    虹膜红褐色；眼圈黄色；上嘴黑色，下嘴偏绿；脚黄色。

    分布：除新疆、西藏、青海外，各省均有分布。在保护区属常见的夏候鸟。

    习性：栖息于山地森林和平原地带的森林中。性机警，受惊后迅速起飞。主要以昆虫为食，也吃少量植物性食物。

    BP: Redish eyes with yellow eyerings.Black bill above and greenish below.Yellow tarsi.

    SD: Common summer visitor.

    HH:Stays in mountain woods and plain forests.Alert， escapes quickly when alerted.Mainly feeds on insects and also some vegetable foods.
